Our Story

From Passion to Distillation
Originally from Bastogne, Belgium, Ines Fortemps de Loneux discovered her passion for gin while living in Spain, where she was captivated by the rich variety of flavours and the culture surrounding gin. What began as curiosity quickly turned into a deep fascination, she spent her free time researching botanicals, extraction methods, and natural aromas.
Central to this journey were the family lands in Provence, where lavender and other aromatic plants had long been cultivated. These lands, and the botanicals they yield, became the soul of Entre Nous Gin: ingredients hand-harvested at their peak, carrying the authentic scent of the Provencal garrigue.
After returning to Luxembourg to pursue a career in finance, Ines continued to cultivate her passion for distillation, training under a master distiller in France. With the support of her family and friends, she took a bold step forward: in 2022, she founded the Distillerie Fortemps de Loneux.
Today, Ines is involved in every stage of production, from the Provence harvest to the final bottling, ensuring that each bottle meets the highest standards of authenticity and craftsmanship. Her journey is one of passion, precision, and a relentless pursuit of quality, making Entre Nous a gin that truly invites shared moments and connection.
Distillerie Fortemps de Loneux
Distillerie Fortemps de Loneux was founded with a simple ambition: to transform exceptional botanicals into spirits that bring people together.
Our story begins on our family land in Provence, where lavender, rosemary and other Mediterranean botanicals are cultivated and harvested with care. These landscapes, scents and traditions inspire every bottle we create.
We craft our spirits in small batches, combining artisanal know-how with an unwavering commitment to quality. Every recipe is developed, distilled and refined in-house to preserve the authenticity and character of the ingredients we work with.
More than a production site, our distillery is a bridge between two worlds: the richness of Provence and the convivial spirit that defines Entre Nous.
Because great spirits are not only about what is in the bottle. They are about the moments, conversations and memories shared around it.

Entre Nous,
more than just a name
Some names are chosen. Ours was felt.
Before Entre Nous Gin was a bottle, it was a field in Provence. A family tending lavender under the summer sun. Hands in the earth, learning what grows and when, what to keep and what to let go.
This quiet, intimate knowledge is where the name begins.
Entre Nous. Between us.
It speaks of the relationships that make things worth making: between a founder and her family, between a grower and her land, between a distiller and her craft. But it also speaks of what happens after, when the bottle is opened, when glasses are filled, when the conversation begins.
Every bottle of Entre Nous Gin carries both meanings. Born from something cultivated in private: a family's land, a distiller's obsession, and offered to something shared.
The journey from field to glass is, in the end, an invitation. To gather. To slow down. To be between us.
A unique gin
At the heart of Entre Nous Gin are eleven botanicals, each chosen not for novelty but for necessity, for the precise role it plays in a blend that has been refined until nothing is superfluous and nothing is missing.
They macerate for sixty hours in French grain alcohol, a duration long enough to draw out not merely the surface of each ingredient but its character, the aromatic depth that reveals itself slowly and honestly, the way a good conversation does.
Provençal lavender anchors the blend, bringing the clarity and warmth of the southern landscape that has always been at the origin of this gin.
Around it, elderflower, citrus, and a careful selection of aromatics layer in softness, brightness and complexity, each one chosen to complement rather than compete, to build something together that none could achieve alone.
What emerges is a gin with a distinctive, floral profile: elegant without being precious, complex without being difficult. A spirit that has earned its recognition : Frankfurt Trophy Gold Medal, World Gin Awards Silver, Concours National de Paris Gold, and that we believe, above all, deserves to be shared slowly, and often.
